We expect that our patrons will be respectful of our comedians, staff and other patrons in return. We provide excellent entertainment, great food, and a friendly, well-educated staff. I'd like to thank you for your review and use this as actually an opportunity to thank our staff for handling the situation as they did, and to be able to reassure our future guests that we will continue to provide a relaxed, fun environment for them to come and enjoy a night out. If she does not want the audience to interact with her than she should not be doing comedy. I personally paid $17.50 a ticket for 10 people to be asked to settle down at a club, and we did not even stay. I will tell all of my friends about this experience. Besides the gentleman who they cut off is 49 years old and only had 4 beers the entire night. So there was no reason to cut anyone off. Why who knows, we had a bus and the staff saw us get off of it, your bartender even committed on it. Some of my friends were upset and went upstairs to get a drink, they were cut off. Really?!!! After she left the stage Brian came on and said that what just happened was not cool. Not the Case.Then all of the bouncers came down. There were no rude commits made or any obscene language, but she felt or thought we were all drunk. Holy Cow, I thought the whole purpose of a comedy club was to laugh. Then she told us if we did not settle down we would be escorted out. Castiglia came out and she was interacting with our group. We were excited to see the show and yes we were laughing. Then we went down to the club and we were all having a great time. We ordered food, and by the way it was great.
Apparently the bartender thought I was drunk. Your club was recommended and when we arrived, I fell by the bathroom, because of some liquid that was on the floor. Of the 10 of us only 3 were feeling good. We went there for a birthday party, 10 people came in my party from Ithaca and on a party bus. I have to say, that this was probably the worst comedy club I have ever been too.
Several, said they had tried it and would never go back! If they don't get it together quickly, they will be closing.Īfter telling people about our experience. We love to eat in local restaurants, but we won't be back there. She offered earlier to not charge for the drinks, to make up for the salads. When the people get called in for the show, we are the only ones in the restaurant area! The food was awful and we only ate half ( mostly because we are now starving)! The waitress asks if we are done and gives us the bill. She states she is sorry, but the kitchen is overwhelmed! Did I mention that we were the only diners!!!!!! Everyone else is drinking and waiting for the show. Then she brings our appetizers with the dinner and never brings our salads. Then we never see her again for almost a hour. The waitress takes our order quickly and brings drink. I have never written a negative review before, but this was the worst food and service I've ever had! We are handed a menu with only 4 items on it. We decided to go there for dinner and maybe stay for the show. Under the name Steins, with wise guys comedy club. They have recently moved to Camillus, which is where I live. We use to go to Wise Guys comedy shows all the time and had a great time! We never ate there, so I cannot comment.
